Project PH: Garment Care Guide
The Golden Rules
- Separate Colors: Always wash light and dark garments separately.
- Hand Wash First: Whenever possible, hand wash to preserve texture and color.
- Inside Out: Wash, dry, and iron garments inside out to prevent fading.
Cotton & Katsa (Soft & Daily Wear)
- Be Gentle: Hand wash lightweight or detailed items to prevent pilling.
- Lay Flat to Dry: To avoid stretching or "bacon collars," lay the garment flat instead of hanging it.
- No Wringing: Do not twist or wring. Let the garment drip dry to maintain its natural shape.
Khaki & Denim (Tough & Street)
- Less is More: Denim is durable and doesn't need frequent washing.
- Pro-Tip: Use a mild shower gel instead of harsh detergent to keep khaki fabrics soft.
